First MVR vertical mill in the Dominican Republic
Convincing operating data from the field are the best reference and Pfeiffer MVR vertical mills perform very well, which is recognized internationally by specialists from various industries. It is therefore not surprising that Cemento Panam is also convinced by this state-of-the-art grinding technology now.
Cemento Panam is part of the Estrella Group and represents the cement division of this building materials manufacturer. The company will use a state-of-the-art MVR vertical mill for its plant northeast of Villa Goutier in the Dominican Republic. A vertical mill of the type MVR 3750 C-4 will be used for cement grinding in the new grinding plant 3 to be installed. MVR mills are characterized, among other features, by efficient comminution, high power density, and extremely smooth running. With this technology, the operator can produce different blended cements of the highest quality very flexibly and extremely efficiently and reduce the clinker factor of his products more and more.
This will be the first MVR vertical mill to be installed in the Dominican Republic. The mill will be equipped with a latest generation SLS 4000 VC classifier and will grind several blended cements at up to 155 t/h to finenesses up to 4800 cm²/g (Blaine).
The order will be handled by the Chinese general contractor CBMI.
