WINDMÖLLER & HÖLSCHER KG

Having supplied more than 750 FFS (Form-Fill-Seal) packaging systems to date, Windmöller & Hölscher is one of the  internationally leading manufacturer of machines and equipment for the bagging of free flowing, highly dusty and powdery as well as non-free flowing bulk goods. They will be presenting their current FFS machinery program at Powtech 2009. It encompasses three machines for different bulk good applications and varying output levels up to 2400 sacks/h. The very successful high performance net weighing system rounds off the program, be it to supplement the FFS investment or upgrade existing bagging equipment. Core element of the W&H FFS packaging machinery program is the TOPAS (Fig.). Owing to its versatility, outstanding performance capability and reliability, the TOPAS has become the most frequently used FFS system in the world for the packaging. The TOPAS can be tailored to most diverse packaging requirements with filling weights ranging from 5 kg to 50 kg. As an alternative to the common product weighing method, be it net or gross weighing, volumetric metering for filling volumes between 5 and 10 litres is available as an option.
